Youth Sculpture Contest Rules and Application Form

The purpose of this contest is to encourage youth to keep our planet green and to get involved with saving our environment.

Contest Rules:

1.      Children in grades 4 through 8 are eligible to enter.

2.      Sculptures must consist of recyclable, reused and/or reduced materials.

3.      Width and depth of sculpture can be no more than 8 ½ x 11 inches.

4.      Height should be proportional to width.

5.      The entry formed found on the GCSC website should be used.

6.      Entries should include at least two photos (4x6 inches recommended) attached to the back of the Entry Form.

7.      Club entries must be sent to District Youth Chairman by December 10.

8.      Scale of Points:

·         Creative use of materials/self-expression – 60 points

·         Description of sculpture and materials – 30 points

·         Craftsmanship and technique – 10 points
