JURIED ART CONTEST SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE MARCH 1

Theme: “Butterflies- Come Flutter With Me”

Entries are limited to Federated Garden Club Members Only.

1.Theme - Artwork should portray "Butterflies-Come Flutter With Me”.
2. Number of entries - Only one entry per person per medium.
3. Size -No size Requirement. Keep in mind that the Winning Entries will be printed in color (8” x 10”) and matted for display at the GCSC State Meeting/Convention in April. These copies will be for sale (amount determined by cost of printing and matting). Artist has the Right of First Refusal.
4. Entries do not need to be framed.
5. Art Submission - Artists must submit entries by email between September 1 and March 1, to the GCSC Juried Art Chairman.
6.. A completed entry form MUST BE SENT AS AN ATTACHMENT WTH EACH SUBMISSION.
7. Make sure photo shows artwork at its best, because that is how it is judged.

There will be one “Best in Show” Award for the overall winner,

The Award of $100 will be shared by artist and their garden club for Best in Show. A  $25.00 award will be given for each  first place in the four juried art categories.

There will be one ribbon of each color (Blue, Red, Yellow, or White) awarded in each category: Drawing, Painting, Mixed Media and  Photography.

All winners will be recognized, and certificates/ribbons awarded at the GCSC State Meeting/Convention each year in April.
Entries may be featured on the GCSC website and/or in The South Carolina Gardener magazine.
